Tata Motors MD and CEO Shailesh Chandra officially confirmed the news. He placed the Tata Sierra EV launch firmly in Q2 of FY2027, which means July to September 2026. Speaking about the year ahead, Chandra said the company plans at least two new nameplates and four facelifts. Clearly, Tata has an aggressive plan for 2026.
The ICE version of the Sierra hit showrooms on 25 November 2025 and it scored a perfect five stars at Bharat NCAP. So, the EV version carries high expectations on its shoulders.

The Tata Sierra EV stays true to its concept roots. Therefore, fans of the boxy, upright Sierra silhouette will not be disappointed.
