The all-new MG Majestor has officially entered the Indian market at Rs 40.99 lakh ex-showroom. Moreover, MG Motor India has positioned the SUV above the Gloster as its new flagship offering. The MG Majestor India launch brings a fresh rival to premium ladder-frame SUVs. As a result, buyers now get another full-size SUV option with a powerful twin-turbo diesel engine.
MG Motor India has launched the Majestor in two variants. While the 4×2 automatic variant starts at Rs 40.99 lakh, the 4×4 automatic variant costs Rs 44.99 lakh.

The MG Majestor India launch introduces a more muscular design than the outgoing Gloster. At the front, the SUV gets a large black grille with vertical LED detailing. The engine produces 215 hp and 479 Nm torque. Moreover, it comes paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Buyers can also choose a 4WD system for better off-road capability. MG claims this remains the only twin-turbo diesel SUV in its segment.
