Honda BigWing India Launch “4 Powerful” Motorcycles!

Honda Just Made June 12 a Date to Remember

Some announcements deserve attention. The Honda BigWing India launch 2026 is one of them. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India introduced four motorcycles in a single announcement the CB750 Hornet E-Clutch, the XL750 Transalp E-Clutch, an updated Gold Wing and the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. The headline addition across the first two is Honda’s E-Clutch technology arriving on the 755cc platform for the first time in India. Bookings for all four are now open at Honda BigWing and Topline dealerships across the country. Four very different motorcycles. Four very different kinds of riders. All in one day.

What Is Honda’s E-Clutch And Why Does It Matter?

Before getting into the individual motorcycles, the E-Clutch technology deserves its own moment. Honda’s E-Clutch system allows a rider to shift gears at any speed, in any situation without manually operating the clutch lever. Starts, stops, upshifts, downshifts all can be executed without touching the clutch. The conventional clutch lever is still present and fully functional for riders who prefer traditional operation. The system does not eliminate rider choice it adds to it.

For commuters dealing with stop-and-go city traffic, for touring riders covering long highway distances and for newer riders building confidence this technology addresses a very real everyday need. Honda has made it available on both the Hornet and the Transalp meaning two very different types of riders get access to it simultaneously.

CB750 Hornet E-Clutch The Street Naked Gets Smarter

The CB750 Hornet has always been about accessible performance wrapped in streetfighter styling. The E-Clutch addition makes that package considerably more practical for daily use. The engine is a 755cc parallel-twin producing 90.5hp and 75Nm of torque strong numbers for the middleweight naked class. Hardware includes Showa 41mm SFF-BP upside-down front forks, dual 296mm front disc brakes and multiple riding modes. A 5-inch full-colour TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity is fitted as standard. The Hornet’s character responsive, engaging, punchy remains unchanged. The E-Clutch simply removes one of the barriers that made it slightly demanding in heavy city traffic.

XL750 Transalp E-Clutch Adventure Touring Gets Easier

The XL750 Transalp shares its 755cc parallel-twin engine with the Hornet same 90.5hp and 75Nm output figures. But the intent is entirely different. The Transalp is built for distance highways, city roads and light off-road trails. Showa SFF-CA upside-down front suspension handles the varied terrain. A dedicated Gravel riding mode sits alongside the standard mode options. Dual LED headlamps and a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync are also fitted. The E-Clutch addition is arguably even more valuable here than on the Hornet long-distance touring with reduced clutch fatigue is a genuine quality-of-life improvement for riders who spend hours on the saddle.

Gold Wing A New Colour for the King of Touring

The Honda Gold Wing needs no introduction in India’s premium motorcycle community. Powered by a 1,833cc liquid-cooled horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine flat-six, as it is commonly known paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, the Gold Wing remains the definitive long-distance touring motorcycle available in India. Reverse and walking-speed modes assist with low-speed manoeuvrability. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electronically adjustable windscreen, a premium audio system and an airbag system are all standard equipment. For 2026, the Gold Wing receives a new colour Gun Metal Black Metallic. The motorcycle itself is unchanged. The new shade, however, gives it a darker and more commanding road presence than before.

CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP The Flagship Carries On

At the very top of Honda’s India motorcycle hierarchy sits the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP unchanged for 2026 but no less formidable for it. A 1,000cc inline four-cylinder engine produces 214.5hp and 113Nm. The hardware list reads like a wish list for track day riders Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension, Brembo Stylema R front calipers, twin 330mm front discs, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system and a 5-inch TFT display. This is a motorcycle built around one purpose maximum performance. It continues that mission unchanged in 2026.
