The updated 2026 Tata Tiago facelift has finally been revealed ahead of its official launch on May 28.
A fresh exterior design has been introduced. Several new features have also been added. The Tiago has always been seen as Tata’s practical city hatchback. Now, a more premium feel has been given to the facelifted version. At first glance, the changes may look small. But a closer look reveals a heavily revised front and rear design. The biggest talking points are the addition of connected LED taillights and a 360 degree camera setup. These features were usually seen in more expensive cars earlier.
New Tata Tiago front design gets slimmer LED headlights
The front profile has been redesigned with a cleaner appearance. Sleeker LED headlights have been fitted to the facelifted Tiago. Eyebrow-style LED DRLs have also been added. The black front grille has been retained. However, a smoother finish has now been used. The chrome strip below the grille has been removed completely. A redesigned front bumper can also be noticed immediately. The silver accents from the older Tiago are no longer present. Pixel-style LED fog lamps have replaced the larger halogen units from the previous model. A front camera module has also been spotted on the bumper. Additional cameras can be seen below the ORVMs. This confirms the arrival of a 360 degree camera system.

5 Highlights of the 2026 Tata Tiago Facelift
- New sleeker LED headlights with eyebrow DRLs added
- Connected LED taillights introduced for the first time
- 360-degree camera setup confirmed
- New alloy wheel design and black wheel arches added
- Six airbags expected with the facelift update
Updated Tata Tiago’s side profile gets new alloy wheels
From the side, only a few changes have been made. A new 15-inch alloy wheel design has been introduced. Black wheel arches are now visible as well. Previously, these were only offered on the Tiago NRG version. This change may hint at Tata skipping the Tiago NRG in the future. The remaining side profile has largely been retained. Body-coloured door handles continue to be offered. The blacked-out B-pillar has also been carried forward.
Facelifted Tiago rear design gets connected LED taillights
The rear section has received the biggest visual update. All-new connected LED taillights have been added. Three vertical LED elements can be seen inside the tail lamps. A light bar now joins both ends together. The Tiago badge has been shifted lower on the tailgate. The reverse camera has also been moved to the rear bumper. The reverse light placement has been revised as well. It is now positioned lower on the bumper. The rear bumper itself has been redesigned slightly. The larger black section has now been extended downward.

Interior expected to remain mostly unchanged
The cabin was not fully shown in the 2026 TATA Tiago facelift reveal video. Still, a few changes could be noticed. A lighter seat upholstery has been introduced. A new free-standing digital driver’s display was also spotted. However, major interior changes are not expected. The MY25 update had already revised the dashboard layout earlier. The 2026 Tata Tiago facelift is likely to continue with the same 2-spoke steering wheel.
The illuminated Tata logo is also expected to remain. The 10.25 inch infotainment system may continue unchanged. The same AC control layout is also expected. A major upgrade could be the addition of six airbags. The older Tiago offered only two airbags earlier. Tata may also bring back the tweeters removed during the MY25 update. This could improve the in-car audio experience.
Tata Tiago petrol and CNG engine options likely to continue
No mechanical changes are expected with the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift version . The same 1.2 litre (NA) naturally aspirated petrol engine is likely to continue. It currently produces 86 hp. A factory-fitted CNG option is also expected to remain available. The CNG version produces 75.5 hp. Both engine options may continue with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT option is also expected to be retained.

Tata Tiago facelift price expected to increase slightly
The updated 2026 Tata Tiago facelift is expected to receive a small price hike. Currently, the hatchback is priced between Rs 4.60 lakh and Rs 7.68 lakh ex-showroom. Despite the revisions, the Tiago will continue targeting budget hatchback buyers. Rivals will include the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The facelift has not changed the Tiago’s core identity. But a more modern and feature-loaded image has certainly been created.
