There is something exciting happening at Tata Motors this week. On May 28, 2026, the 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift is set to launch officially. Just days before that, Tata has been teasing us, first the exterior, then the ICE interior. Now, the Tiago EV’s cabin has also been officially revealed. And honestly? It looks quite promising for the price.
2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift Gets a Familiar Yet Fresh Cabin

The cabin follows the same design language as the petrol Tiago facelift. A two-tone interior greets you in light grey and black. The grey tone is used across seats, armrests, and parts of the dashboard. It gives the cabin a more airy feel. The dashboard and centre console have been redesigned over the older model. You also get a two-tone steering wheel with ‘Tata EV’ badging on it. The push-start button has been repositioned to the right of the steering column.
5 Highlights of the 2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift
1. Dual floating displays — A touchscreen and a digital driver’s display are both dash-mounted in a floating layout.
2. 360-degree cameras — A first for this segment and price range.
3. Rear AC vents — Passengers at the back get dedicated air vents now.
4. Six-speaker audio system — Tweeters in the A-pillars and four door speakers confirmed.
5. Front seatback pockets — A small but useful addition for rear passengers.
2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift: Tech Punches Above Its Price

The 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift gets two dash-mounted floating displays. One is the central touchscreen, and the other is the digital instrument cluster. Together, they give the cabin a modern, clean look. Gloss black trim has been used more generously throughout the interior. The 360-degree camera system is a notable addition at this price point. Rear AC vents add practicality that budget EV buyers have long asked for.
Sound and Comfort Upgrades in the 2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift
The six-speaker audio system is confirmed through official teaser images. Speaker grilles can be seen in the A-pillars for tweeters. Four more grilles sit in the four doors. For a car in this segment, that is a good setup. Front seatback pockets round off the comfort upgrades nicely.
Exterior of the 2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift
The exterior of the 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift shares its design with the petrol version. LED headlamps and connected tail-lamps are part of the update. The front gets a blanked-off grille, as expected on an EV. Air curtains sit at the sides of the front bumper. A central lower intake, a rear spoiler, and aero-optimised wheels complete the look. ‘Tata EV’ badging is placed at both the front and rear.

Powertrain, What the 2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift Could Offer
Tata has not yet announced powertrain specs for the facelift. However, the outgoing model was offered with two battery options, 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. The smaller pack made 61 hp and 110 Nm, with a claimed range of 223 km. The larger pack made 75 hp and 114 Nm, with a claimed range of 293 km. Updated figures are expected at the May 28 launch event.
Pricing and Competition for the 2026 Tata Tiago EV Facelift
Prices are still under wraps. The pre-facelift model started at Rs 7.99 lakh and went up to Rs 11.14 lakh, ex-showroom. The updated version is unlikely to stray too far from that range. The MG Comet and Citroen eC3 are its main rivals in the affordable EV space. With this feature list, the 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift looks like a strong contender at any reasonable price point.
